The Trustees finished with their presentation of witnesses, but the trial has been lengthened by the opposing respondents’ effort to subpoena testimony from the Attorney General or her designee, regarding the Attorney General’s formal consent to the modification of the LL Nunn Trust. The judge scheduled another day for the trial after he has had time to review the briefs submitted on the matter.
The proceeding will continue May 27 via telephone. At that time the judge hopes to establish a schedule for the submission of final arguments in writing. Documents pertaining to the Attorney General’s consent may be downloaded below:
