Deep Springs College has extended the application period for the Herb Reich Early-Career Teaching Fellowship in the Natural Sciences for the 2008-2009 academic year:

This fellowship offers a mentored teaching experience in a selective liberal arts environment. The Reich Fellow will teach self-designed courses within the area of his or her expertise, as well as introductory courses. Fellows learn to consider and convey their discipline within the broader context of a liberal education. The teaching load is 3 courses per year, distributed 1-2 or 2-1. The one-year fellowship is renewable up to three years.
